“DERBY DAY”

WOODLAND’s KENTUCKY DERBY DAY PARTY is held the first Saturday in May!!

Starting at 5:30pm with:

• Food and drinks under the trees. Everyone brings something for themselves to put on the grill and something for the community table. Fabulous Mint Juleps courtesy of Mike for our adults!

• Casual, in-house Dollar Betting begins before the race.

• Watch the Kentucky Derby on our large-screen TV.

• In-Ring Relay Races for all our students. Divided by riding level. Sign-up sheets are in the office.

• Advanced riders’ “Race Challenge”. Our advanced riders challenge each other as they race their favorite horse or pony up the hill. Very exciting and not to be missed!! Sign-up sheets are in the office.
